Winnie the Pooh Cake

Winnie the Pooh cake for a 1 year old's birthday. The cake is a plain cake with buttercream frosting. The Pooh figures are made with gumpaste.

50th Birthday Cake

This is a cake I did for a 50th birthday party. Everything on the cake is edible. It's a plain cake with buttercream frosting, fondant, chocolate, and gumpaste. The "Gumpaste Vicki", which was my first attempt at making a person, is made with gumpaste; the gift tags were made with colored white chocolate, and the presents are covered in fondant. The banner, bows, and curly ribbons are fondant as well. The bows, ribbons, Gumpaste Vicki's dress, and banner are painted in silver & red luster dust.

Wizard of Oz Cake

I made a Wizard of Oz cake for my friend's daughter's 3rd birthday. The sides of the cake are a blue and white gingham for Dorothy's dress, while the top of the cake has the ruby red slippers on the yellow brick road rolling over a hill to get to the Emerald City. The legs of one of the witches sticks out from the beginning of the cake. The cake itself is a plain cake with buttercream frosting, fondant, and gumpaste slippers, "witch's legs", and Emerald City.

Sesame Street Cake

This is a birthday cake I made for a good friend's son's second birthday. He's really into Elmo and Sesame Street, so this cake is supposed to replicate the "stoop" on Sesame Street with Elmo sitting on the steps. It's a pound cake with buttercream icing. Elmo, the doors, steps, and exterior around the door are all marshmallow fondant. Also, on the back I added the Boston Red Sox logo because his mom is a big, big fan.
