This is a cake I did for a friend's birthday. She is a huge Red Sox fan, and after I got my husband's blessing to make the cake (he's a huge Yankees fan), I set about making a small "replica" of Fenway Park's best. All parts of the cake, except the Green Monster are edible. The Green Monster is actually styrofoam covered in green fondant. Wally the Green Monster was made using gumpaste, the "fans" are regular and peanut M&Ms, and the brick side was made with fondant. (
The Chick Fil A logo was added as a joke since we eat there at least once a week). Everything else is my "Lemon Almond Awesome Cake" and buttercream icing.
